Criminal Law
Members of Chambers’ Criminal Team receive instructions both to prosecute and defend the whole spectrum of criminal law from shoplifting to murder.
Our barristers regularly appear in all courts from the Magistrates’ Courts to the Court of Appeal and, occasionally, the Supreme Court. Members accept instructions to appear in courts throughout the jurisdiction of England & Wales.
Some of our practitioners also specialise in regulatory crime, dealing with cases concerning trade descriptions, health and safety, licensing, road haulage and local government offences etc.
Chambers also normally has a number of working pupils at any given time, which means that cases can be covered from the first appearance to their conclusion. Members also speak a variety of different languages – more information is available from members’ profiles.
